Noble Energy, Inc. Workover Foreman in Pecos, Texas

Responsible for day-to-day activities involving work over rigs and completion operations. Ensures operations comply with all corporate EH&S; policies and governmental regulations. Works closely with other departments (e.g. EH&S;, Regulatory, CCOGC) as they coordinate all aspects of the projects.

Detailed Description

  • Is responsible for day-to-day activities involving work over rigs and completion operations.

  • Under the direction of the Completion Manager or Foreman, is responsible for day-to-day activities involving work over rigs and completion operations.

  • Provides routine and non-routine technical expertise in all facets of well completions.

  • Monitors completion operations and ensures that projects are completed in a safe and cost effectivemanner, adhering to company policies and government regulations.

  • Responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and providing coordination of all Completion typecapital projects, including refracs, trifracs, recompletions, deepenings, Rod work, P&As;, and casing

repairs, annular fills etc.

  • Communicates daily with contractors to discuss procedures and problems with projects.

  • Coordinates qualified vendors’ services used for perforating, cementing, hydrotesting, fishing tools,water deliveries, etc.

  • Writes detailed reports summarizing daily activities and costs.

  • Reviews well files and recommends solutions to downhole problems identified.

  • Performs related duties as requested.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.

  • Typically requires 6 years of experience in completion / production operations.

  • OR High School Diploma (or equivalent) + additional equivalent experience.
