Responsible for application software support, enhancement and development, in support of the enterprise functions. Works closely with functional groups and IT by leading the efforts in support of existing applications, new system implementations, and other IT project initiatives.
Mentors one or more Enterprise Systems Analysts.
Involved in the transition to the new processes where applicable.
Establishes project plans with clients and IT resources, tracks and reports status, proactively manages overall project expectations.
Keeps management and stakeholders informed of project progress, budget and resource status and other key project metrics on a regular basis.

Works closely with and monitors the activities of external service providers.
Understands the business processes which are supported by these systems.
Liaises with software suppliers and other third parties, as required, to provide timely and cost-effective customer support.
Ensures all tasks are managed to a successful conclusion and communicated to the customer.
Evaluates and assists with implementation of improvements to existing applications collaboratively with the business.
Builds and maintains close and effective working relationships with the enterprise organizations.
Has an awareness of industry best practices along with the ability to suggest innovation where possible.
Establishes and sustains close working relationships with client project sponsors and subject matter experts as well as IT technical, development and support area to define and implement services and support.
May resolve service requests or escalates requests to the enterprise development teams.
Develops functional design specifications for enhanced system functionality, provide functional support to the development team, and facilitate user acceptance.
Manage OSIsoft PI Data Archives, tags, security, and PI Collectives by performing daily system checks
Build and edit PI tags
Serve as escalation for support issues
Build PI AF Elements, Templates, Notifications, Calculations necessary to meet business requirements
Create and edit PI dashboards and reports using PI tools (PI ProcessBook, PI DataLink and PI Vision)
Provide technical expertise in PI tools and MS Excel as needed by other team members
Installing and configuring PI Interfaces and Connectors including PI OPC Interface, PItoPI Interface, PI RDBMS Interface, PI UFL Interface and PI Cygnet Connector
Troubleshoot advance PI data issues
Expert knowledge and understanding of SQL queries, OPC and Modbus
Able to communicate with IT and explain system requirements
Knowledgeable of Upstream and/or Midstream Oil & Gas and operations such as separators, meters, and wellheads for both onshore and offshore
Able to read and interpret P&ID; and associate instrumentation with tags and assets in PI
Serve as technical expert in projects as requested
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, MIS, or Computer Science, or Engineering preferred.
Typically requires 6 years of related experience with an emphasis on Operations application software and related technologies.
Or High School Diploma and 8 years of related experience
Normal office environment 90% of time
Field & Offshore environment 10% of time
Domestic and international travel up to 25%
24/7 on-call support rotation with other team members
Able to climb stairs while lifting up to 50 lbs.
